Currently i'm still playing AOK (Age of Kings), but I saving up for AOE3. I used to be big into fps but killing newbies on the net became a bit boring, so I now prefer something with a bit of stimulus.

I really like the aoX games, but man, you have to invest some serious time to them.

Well.... not always. It often depends on how you play, to how long the games go on. Also it depends on what sort of game you are playing. Say if you play all the scenario stuff... then those take ages! But I can play a single player deathmatch in no time at all. Because when you start, you have a stockpile of resources. But if you are in the mood to be slaughted, you can play online against a pro the game will be over in a bit over 15 minutes.

Ah - I was playing them wrong.  I bought AOE and spent about 8 hours on it.  I loved the game but never played it again.  They need games that are dumbass proof for me Smiley

That's a lot of time to waste on a game

It seems like a lot, but when you're playing that game, time seems to stand still, and after 8 hours, you're only just getting to the good part.
