Have you tried it.  I am addicted.  I love being able to see the world at the click of a button,  If you havent used it, I highly recomend it!

You'd probably start to see things you don't really want to see :) 

It does make me wonder how many things the satellites catch in the act that you could never tell by looking at them, or maybe you can and just don't know where to look, like fires, robberies, police chases, etc....

MSN has one too, and there was a lot of controversy about it because they had blacked out the apple campus on it.

Also, it's interesting on the google maps that there are lots of areas that are completely snipped out - you can tell that it is the shape of a building or whatever, but they have blacked it out.  I wonder what that's all about...

It wasn't long ago that Australia jumping up and down because their nuclear facilities was able to be seen on Google Earth.

I use it every now and then in my free time. it is kind of becoming  a hobby, lol. Anyways amazing tool.

It is.  I hope they get more of the world online at hi res soon.  I'm not able to zoom in on dubai yet :(

Potential Upgrades to Google Earth:
- Zoom to be able to read time off watch
- Realtime
- See through clouds feature
