Anyone get any good black friday deals?  I got a pretty good deal from compusa - 1GB PNY PC4200 memory for $80.  That's about what the generic stuff goes for on pricewatch these days.  I also got a 300GB maxtor ultra16 drive for $120.  They have the 250GB model for $60 today, so it wasn't such a good deal Sad

I'm still trying to get a GODDAMN xbox 360.  You'd think a company like MS would figure out that they could make more MONEY if people could actually buy their products...

My brother has been trying to get one too since they came out with no luck.  Part of the problem with MS is that they don't understand all that much about logistics behind actual products.  The other part is that they create an artificial shortage which keeps demand and prices high, which may or may not extend the demand for them.  Having said that, it's my understanding that they break even or a little less on the consoles and make all their money on games, so it would be in their interest to have as many people as possible using the xbox before the competition releases their new consoles.

Well the first problem is that you're buying the wrong console. I'd rather hold out for a ps3

It sounds like the ps3 is worth saving up for, rather than an xbox 360

I don't know about that.  I think the 360 rocks!
