The Texas state government is taking steps to close some of the doors opened by the US supreme court last month: http://www.chron.com/cs/CDA/ssistory.mpl/politics/3270128

I think this is a good thing (c) and I really hope that more states take this stance.  Eminent domain for private development is a conflict of interest in the worst way.
