Very sorry for the absence.  Not even sure anyone will be here to see this.  Life has been exceedingly crazy for me lately and when the database had issues, it was easier to nuke the site than fix it at the time.

I felt a great disturbance in the Force, as if millions of voices suddenly cried out in terror and were suddenly silenced. I feared something terrible had happened.

More or less.  The company I work for got bought, and I've been up to my ears with integration stuff.  It's still pretty busy, but getting better, or maybe I'm just adjusting.

By the way, thanks for coming back!

It was only pure luck that I'm back as I thought the whole site was permenently blown to bits. I just happened to do a google search to see who was still linking my domain as saw this site in the results. All I  thought was that there was no way google would cache its links for that long... so voila! what do you know.... the site is back up

I had to do a security update on php at some point, and I worked it in, but I didn't go back and make sure this site was still working for quite a while.  I have a whole bunch of sites, and I tried some of the others, and they were ok, but this one was not.  I wound up getting into aquariums as a hobby, and that sucked the little time I had left.  But, I'm glad you found it again.

I've always wanted to get into aquariums, but the whole cat thing kind of *kills* that idea. I'd love to see some photos, if you have any.

I'll take some.  By the way, I also have 3 cats and it's never been a problem.  Well, once a fish jumped out of the tank and one of my cats carried it around for a while, but that was it.

Hmm interesting... Maybe I will think about aquariums. Wouldn't it be cool to setup a live webcam so you could always see what your fish are up to. Probably not a lot... kind of puts your life into perspective though

For sure.  there are some great forums for aquariums if you are interested.  I definitely recommend reading a bit before starting.

Getting bought is always fun. Been through it a few times. How is it going for you?
