Any thoughts on the power shift in the US congress?  Personally, I think it was a good thing.  I'm typically a republican, only because my libretarian party can't get into gear.  The repubs have made a damn mess in many different respects and things need to swing the other way for a while to balance it out.

you do realize this means your taxes are going up, right?  I think this is probably a bad thing.

I've been seeing headlines like: "Waxman has the bush administration in his sights", and someone even came up with their own suggested 14 articles of impeachment.

We have people thinking that the repubs lowered the gas prices to win the election.  That worked well.

The craziest thing I've heard is that the repubs orchestrated this because the economy is apparently collapsing around is (Huh) and it will get much worse over the next two years, just in time to blame the economic woes on the dems and win the whitehouse for another 4 years.
