Apparently this is the end times for DSL and broadband now.  I was lambasted on slashdot for saying that the FCC is doing the right thing here.  Proclimantions of DSL hitting $800 per month were made.  If DSL went to $800 per month, I'd stick with my $49.99/month comcast line, and I'm guessing a lot of other people would too.

By the way - if you see DSL go up to $800, BUY COMCAST stock, and buy a lot.
