Investing strategy?

Do you have an investing strategy?  Individual stocks, mutual funds, lottery tickets?

Personally, I use a mix of etf's and mutual funds in very diverse areas like gold, energy, utilities, technology, and some index and equity funds.  If anyone is interested, I can go into more detail.

The lottery approach worked pretty well for the couple that won the $340M powerball yesterday.
